Indiana American Water to Host Open House on October 26, 2023 at New Water Treatment Facility in Charlestown, Ind.
JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (October 17, 2023) Indiana American Water today announced that it is hosting an open house to give Charlestown, Ind. residents an opportunity to meet the Indiana American Water team and learn more about the community’s new $16 million water treatment facility. The free, family-friendly event will be open to the public on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (EDT) at 219 Charlestown Landing Road, Charlestown, Ind. The open house will include displays and educational demonstrations, free food and drinks, several activities and tours of the new facility, A government-issued ID and closed-toed shoes will be required to participate in plant tours.

Indiana American Water acquired the Charlestown water system in March 2019. The company serves approximately 3,000 customers, or a population of more than 8,000 residents in Charlestown.
