Justin Lane Named Operations Project Manager
LEXINGTON, Ky., (June 1, 2020) – Kentucky American Water has announced the appointment of Justin Lane as operations project manager, reporting to vice president of operations, David Farrar. In this position, Lane will support operations and functional areas by managing projects that support investment, growth and continuous improvement. 
Lane, a native of Menifee County, Ky., graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Morehead State University and then began his career with The Walker Company of Kentucky, Inc. in Mount Sterling, Ky. Lane served as a project manager for various construction companies before eventually working for J.Y. Legner Associates, Inc. as a transmission lines project manager doing contract work for LG&E- Kentucky Utilities in Lexington.
Lane served on the Menifee County Board of Education for several years, completed the Leadership Montgomery County program and served on the Applied Engineering & Technology Department Advisory Board at Morehead State University.
Lane resides in Mount Sterling, Ky., with his wife and two young children.
