Report Shows Water Utility Continues to Meet or Surpass Water Quality Standards
Bel Air, M.D. – June 6, 2024 – Maryland American Water’s most recent Water Quality Report is now available on its website under the Water Quality tab. The company is proud to report that once again it continues to meet or surpass water quality standards across the state.
The annual Water Quality Report (also referred to as a “Consumer Confidence Report”) details the quality of water provided by the company to its customers using data collected from water quality testing in its local systems between January and December 2023. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and the Maryland Department of Environmental Quality set standards for water quality and monitor test results to help utilities meet those standards.
