Three community improvement projects receive more than $27,000 in environmental funding
CAMDEN, N.J. (January 15, 2020) – New Jersey American Water was proud to name South Plainfield High School’s Environmental Science Club a recipient of 2019 Environmental Grant Awards. Last year, the company awarded a total of $27,404 to three distinguished organizations and community groups within its service area that are engaged in sustainability projects to further improve water source and/or watershed protection. South Plainfield High School’s Environmental Science Club received a $9,804 grant to help fund the creation of an outdoor classroom at the school.
