Pennsylvania American Water Announces Promotion of Senior Manager of Operations

Pennsylvania American Water announced today the promotion of Joseph
Woodward to the position of senior manager of operations for Central
Pennsylvania.
In this role, Woodward oversees the water and wastewater operations
within the company’s Central Pennsylvania districts, including Hershey,
Mechanicsburg, Milton, Berwick, Frackville, McEwensville, Franklin
Township and Lake Heritage.
Woodward previously held the position of manager of field operations for
Pennsylvania American Water. He began his career with American Water in
1997, including serving in operations roles at American Water Services
and Indiana American Water. Prior to joining American Water, he worked
for the Borough of Ashland, PA, as a water treatment plant operator.
Woodward earned his bachelor of science degree in environmental
engineering from Wilkes University. He is a licensed water and
wastewater operator in Pennsylvania. He is also a board member of the
Dillsburg Area Municipal Authority
