The company will upgrade the aging 2-inch and 6-inch water lines with new, 6-inch and 8-inch ductile iron main along the following streets to cul-de-sac end:
- Key Drive from North Quaker Lane
- Francis Hammond Parkway from Key Drive
- Roan Lane from Key Drive
- Marshall Lane from Key Drive
- Hall Place from Key Drive
- Kingston Avenue from Janney’s Lane
- Kingston Place from Kingston Avenue
Virginia American Water’s local, qualified contractor, Utilities Unlimited, will begin work on Key Drive on or about September 21 and expects to finish by the end of January 2021, weather permitting. Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work outside of these hours is not expected unless required to maintain project schedule. Final street restorations will be completed in the Spring of 2020.

All emergency vehicles and local traffic will be allowed access during construction.
