West Virginia American Water customers who have a total household income of $30,120 or less, regardless of the number of people in the household, may be eligible for a reduced monthly rate on their water and/or wastewater bills.

Beginning August 5, 2024, Customers who meet the above income guidelines and who are not enrolled in the Special Residential Reduced Rate Program (SRRRS Reduced Rate + 20% Discount administered by the West Virginia Department of Human Services) may call the Dollar Energy Fund at 1-888-282-6816 and select Option 3.
