General Rate Case Fact Sheets (2021-2023)

On March 4, 2021, California American Water implemented new rates and in some cases, rate designs, for customers across the state.

The rate changes are the result of the implementation of our general rate case. It was filed in July of 2019 and the CPUC approved the final decision in December 2021. The rate changes customers are seeing are the result of the changes proposed for both 2021 and 2022. Below are fact sheets generally describe how rates will be chainging in your district and what they are funding.
