Lead Service Line Inventory
At California American Water, providing safe, reliable water service is our top priority. Each year, California American Water invests millions of dollars in upgrading our water infrastructure to support our continued provision of safe and reliable water service to our customers. We employ a proactive, multi-faceted approach to manage the potential exposure to lead as part of our commitment to maintain high-quality water and help protect the health and safety of our customers.
California American Water has completed the initial lead service line inventory required by U.S. EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule Revisions for all its water systems.
Through completing a historical records review and field investigations, California American Water has determined it has no lead or galvanized requiring replacement service lines in any of its distribution systems.
