Hydration Station Grant Program
Missouri American Water is committed to making a positive impact in the communities we serve by providing quality water services to our customers and supporting community, civic and charitable organizations. Our Hydration Station Grant Program is designed to make safe and healthy hydration more accessible in public spaces while also promoting environmental stewardship, as it helps reduce the number of plastic bottles that end up in landfills and bodies of water.
Our program provides grants to select nonprofit organizations and public institutions, such as schools, parks and community centers, to help purchase hydration stations and/or drinking fountains for indoor or outdoor use. Due to the difference in cost, we will award more grants for indoor versus outdoor units. Grants will not be awarded to individual customers, places of worship, schools requiring religious education, political organizations, or GoFundMe campaigns. To be eligible to apply, entities must receive their tap water service from Missouri American Water.
Grant recipients are responsible for ordering, installing, and maintaining the hydration stations.
