Lead Service Line Replacement Program
New Jersey American Water is committed to removing all utility- and customer-owned lead and galvanized service lines by 2031, as required by state law. If the customer-owned portion of your service line is determined to be made of lead or galvanized steel, we’d like to work with you to replace it at no direct cost.
